With the rear seats folded flat, this grows to 1,680 litres in the A6 and 1,495 litres in the A4.
Good question! I had the A4 from 2007 to 2010 so the memory is a little hazy, but I know the A6 was a good size bigger than the A4. The official specs say the 2005 A4 had a boot size of 442 litres, whilst the 2010 A6 is 565 litres with the seats up. Not sure what the A4 was with the seats down, but the A6 was 1660 litres. How big is the boot in an Audi A4? It's a good size by executive car standards, with a capacity of 460 litres. We managed to fit in seven carry-on suitcases without folding down the rear seats IYt0QtC.
