Dobinson suspension, LR tanks, 31" BF mud's. As Cassie says, the problem could be with the central locking unit itself, but this would normally only be the case if the problem is across all 4 doors. If the problem is only on 1 or 2 doors, then the problem most likely lies with the servo unit inside that particular door.
The undesirable beep is usually triggered by door problems. If the van is not “reading” all the doors as closed, there will be a beep as a warning sign. Faulty door lock switch, faulty door lock actuator, faulty deadlock, central lock not working, and misaligned sliding door are the top problems. The lock/unlock switch on the inside works perfectly locking and unlocking. Have tried all the fixes on here ie: removing the 63 fuse and replacing it etc, have opened up the side panels and checked the rods and oiled them but cant force the rods to open the door manually.

Hi thanks for the reply. Door locking/ unlocking with the remote works as normal. Just tried the key though and all doors lock but then drivers door immediately unlocks itself whilst the rest remain locked. The door can be locked manually with key when the convenience unit is disconnected. The Central Locking System is one of the great automotive wonders. This system significantly improves user comfort and safety by not having to unlock every door manually, which is great, especially when you're in a hurry. Simply twisting the key in the driver's door is enough to lock the car.
C Class Central Locking Problems. The central locking system opens on remote on problem, but when you try to lock it the front passenger door lock locks and unlocks three or four times in very quick succession and the button at the top of the door normally stops in the unlocked position.
